Repairs Surveyor

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in property inspection and maintenance? My client is looking for a Repairs Surveyor to join their dynamic team and play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our property assets.

The main responsibilities of a Repairs Surveyor are:

• Cover Trust properties primarily in the designated area, conducting regular estate and property inspections to identify maintenance needs. Take proactive steps to initiate remedial actions when necessary.

• Identify health and safety issues, structural defects, necessary repairs, and potential improvements. Recommend detailed specifications for implementation and effectively engage and manage contractors.

• Conduct pre-inspections of internal dwellings to specify required remedial works. Perform post-inspections to ensure that all completed work aligns with the Trust’s high standards. Report any non-compliance promptly.

• Oversee and deliver the Trust’s voids and void contractors in the designated area. Ensure that repairs and upgrades are carried out to the highest quality and within established time lines to optimise income generation.

• Project Management: Specify, tender, and project manage planned works, ensuring they are completed within budget and prescribed time lines. Support effective health and safety management by ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations to meet legal obligations.

• Professional Expertise: Provide a professional, technical, and practical building surveying approach to fulfil all surveying functions on behalf of the Trust. Ensure that legal and statutory obligations are consistently met.

• Relevant qualifications and experience in building surveying or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and property maintenance standards.
• Proficiency in project management and contractor engagement.

My client is offering a remote approach to working with visits to the sites.
