I am currently looking for a qualified accountant to join a bulge-bracket Investment Bank in their Finance Division. The role sits within their Financial Control division and will appeal to an outstanding, hands-on candidate with an interest in financial markets, as well as a highly proficient background in accounting.

The broad remit of the role requires a lot of interaction across multiple business areas including commercial revenue generating and technical divisions. You will be forward looking in preparing financial statements and reports for revenue, explaining the movements in relation to real world events, and how they will impact the wider business and profits. You will also develop budgets and forecasts for the business, and be involved in niche areas such as stress testing with regard to P&L.

The exposure to such a wide array of business units and different functions related to revenue offers a real value-add aspect to this position and as such, I am looking for the most dedicated and driven candidates who can show their motivation to be part of such a high-profile business and team.

Requirements: -

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Strong accounting knowledge
  • Understanding of markets and how they can affect revenue within an FS institution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
