As life expectancy continues to grow in the UK, Longevity remains an important topic discussed by actuaries. If you want to join the debate and be part of a Longevity team where you can influence and make recommendations on a range of Life products, this role could be for you.

Following a period of growth, a student role has been created within the Longevity team of a Life Insurance business based in London. To be considered, you will be studying towards your actuarial exams with most of your CTs cleared and have experience working in an actuarial capacity for example, reporting, pricing, capital or modelling.

The day to day duties of the role include:

  • Recalibration of the Longevity Risk model
  • Completing mortality analysis of the complete business portfolio
  • Producing and maintaining models and processes used by the longevity team
  • Carrying out analysis and research in relation to lifestyle mortality

No prior Longevity experience is required but you will be expected to have sound knowledge of the Life insurance industry. You will have a genuine interest in the Longevity sector with an inquisitive mind and good technical experience.

On offer is a competitive salary as well as study support and the opportunity to join a rotation scheme after 2 - 3 years. To Find out more, please get in touch on 020 7019 8881 or email me on louise.capone@goodmanmasson.com
