Senior Actuarial Modelling Analyst

I am recruiting for an International Life Insurance Company who are looking to grow their modelling team by one extra head. They are looking for a modeller who has strong actuarial knowledge with a good understanding of valuations, SII, reporting, ORSA, assets and liabilities. The role is to operate quarterly reports, work on large modelling projects and deal with daily queries from the actuarial team. This position would suit someone who has decided to give up exams to take on a more system focused role. Daily duties include:

  • Delivering actuarial data on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Producing liabilities and asset value calculations, projections and reporting templates
  • Maintaining up to date process and controls to ensure risk is in line with the company appetite
  • Dealing with queries from the wider actuarial team, providing solutions and advice
  • Managing / Supervising 1 - 3 junior technicians

If you are interested in taking that first step into management and have a sound knowledge of the above, this could be the role for you. You must demonstrate sound technical understanding and hold your own when challenged on a typical actuarial process. You must have good working knowledge of Prophet and be comfortable with complex models.

This role is based in Greater London and offers a strong salary and benefits including annual bonus and flexi-time. If you wold like to find out more, please get in touch on
