I'm currently working on a vacancy in a FTSE Oil and Gas business based in Central London. The role of Senior Business Partner will be commercially focused, supporting the Head of Business Partnering and building relationships with both senior stakeholders and internal finance teams.

The role of Senior Business Partner in this Oil and Gas business will include:

  • Providing strong and dynamic management of the Corporate Functions and Business Units
  • Partnering with the business to support analysis and integration into the business plan
  • Providing financial decision support to different areas of the business, and taking a proactive approach to cost control
  • Heading up the financial planning process, including medium-term planning, budgeting and re-forecasting; ensuring high quality and consistency.
  • Clearly define and track financial KPIs and set and review performance targets
  • Supporting change initiatives across the finance function and promoting best practice

The suitable candidate for the role of Senior Business Partner must be/have:

  • Commercial finance experience
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with experience in industry
  • Excellent at communicating with internal finance teams and company stakeholders
  • Good at handling stressful situations
  • Skilled at developing and maintaining networks
  • Dynamic customer-focused business partnering skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and presentation skills
  • Good commercial acumen
  • The ability to work to regular and tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of the business, and finance matters that may affect the business
