Permanent Position Required: Senior Data Analyst

My Client, An Arms – Length Body of the NHS who is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Business Intelligence team permanently.

This organisation is implementing the delivery of a large-scale transformation project to transform their Business Intelligence structure, Team and Database to enable a more efficient and faster way to improve Solutions.

Location: London

Travel requirements: 2 days needed onsite a week at the London Office

Circa Salary: £55,000

The Senior Data Analyst will:

  • Work with the IT team to plan and coordinate data engineering deployment and upgrades
  • Liaise with a range of staff and external bodies to identify their requirements and provide timely and relevant analysis and reports
  • Act as a point of reference on statistical and analytical techniques and methods, providing specialist advice and guidance throughout the company
  • Develop statistical and analytical methods for the production of regular statistically-based analysis for external stakeholders
  • Support various internal stakeholders, including individual staff performance analysis, risk management reports and financial reporting
  • Carry out periodic audits of the various data sources (including the case management systems, databases or equivalent) to ensure that the data is entered correctly. Where issues are identified, work with the relevant managers and staff to address the matters
  • Develop internal databases where new requirements or functionality is required
  • Lead on the collection, analysis, production and presentation of internal and external reports for internal projects, external initiatives and the wider organisational performance
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance on statistical and information matters
  • Manage, develop and maintain internal databases

The Senior Data Analyst will have:

  • Lead on the collection, analysis, production and presentation of internal and external reports for internal projects, external initiatives and the wider organisational performance
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance on statistical and information matters
  • Manage, develop and maintain internal databases
  • The ability to collate, analyse, interpret and explain complex datasets
  • Extensive experience of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to understand their reporting and analysis requirements
  • Previous exposure to managing multiple workflows and achieve short deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously on a day to day basis, to work within broad occupational policies and targets and meet with manager at regular intervals to discuss progress, complex issues or areas of concern
  • Intermediate level of VBA and SQL coding
  • Intermediate Level of MS Access, Word, Outlook, Visio and SharePoint
  • Experience of using Tableau or Power BI for reporting and analysis
