If you're looking to expand your knowledge on asset-classes, or looking for a new challenge from your current role, this position with a global energy leader may be of interest…

I am looking for a candidate who is looking to take the next step in their career to join an international commodities institution as a Senior Product Controller, reporting into the Head of Product Control. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, and a passion for collaborative work, but there is no pre-requisite for previous experience within commodities. This is a chance to broaden your skill set and work on new asset classes you haven't had previous exposure to - or improve on the commodities knowledge you already possess!

What differentiates this department from other Product Control roles is the stability, and with the full team being in-house, it allows the business to implement changes at pace and be reactive to industry movements. From previous conversations with candidates, the ratio of project based and BAU work is noteworthy, with the company striving for a good work life balance.

The salary for this position is competitive with the current market rate, and bonus ranges in the 20-40% region.

Key Requirements: -

  • Background in Product Control / Middle Office
  • Minimum of 2 years experience of accounting work
  • Qualified or Part-Qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / CFA)
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
