A Global Custodian / Fund Administrator in London is looking for a Senior Product Manager (Vice President level) to support development and launch of new products (services) across their Alternative Asset Services division.


The Alternative Asset Services team deliver investment administration, middle office services, investment data analytics and management to clients invested in alternative assets (primarily Hedge Funds). The Product Management function supports the full lifecycle management of product development from the conceptualisation of the idea through to post launch support. The Senior Product Manager sits in the middle of the process to bring products to market and works with internal teams including Sales, Change, Technology and Operations in addition to external clients. You will be responsible for activities including defining the target client segment market, evaluating industry trends, pre and post launch assessments etc.


To apply for this position, you will have the following experience:

  • Experience of working within a Product Management environment within financial services (ideally Custody / Fund Servicing) - with demonstrable experience of bringing a new product (service) to market
  • Knowledge of Alternative Asset types is highly desirable but candidates without this will be considered
  • Knowledge of business strategy development in order to provide long term planning and manage the profitability of assigned products
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (ability to liaise directly with a client)
