Senior Trade Control Analyst- Commodities

Salary: £75,000- £80,000

I am looking for a Senior Trade Control Analyst to join my client’s Middle Office (Trade Control) unit, specialising in Crude and Products commodities. While experience in all commodities is preferred, we welcome candidates with a strong emphasis on a specific commodity. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including Front Office (FO), IT, Back Office (BO), and other internal teams. The Trade Control team ensures daily trade validation, price confirmation, and transaction controls.

In your role, you will perform essential validation tasks for physical crude and products transactions, ensuring adherence to company procedures. You will support end-of-day processes in ETRM systems, guaranteeing the timely generation of Position and PNL reporting.

Your proactive, stress-resilient approach, combined with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships, will be invaluable. Experience in middle office/product control/back office/risk management, and understanding of commodities markets, particularly physical crude and products markets, are highly beneficial.
