Looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join a public sector client in Surrey.
The post-holder will be responsible for providing support to an outsourced Service Desk, Applications Management, IT Training and Change/Release Management support to all systems and services managed by the digital department. The post-holder is expected to manage the delivery of these services which includes people and stakeholder management, managing contracts, managing suppliers, managing budgets and liaising with end-users and customers.
Ideally, the post-holder will have recent experience in a senior IT management role, experience in managing budgets, experience in supplier management, experience in successful implementation of IT focused projects, and finally, knowledge of IT legislation and regulation.
This position is going to be suitable for an individual who has a good proven track record of delivering in customer facing IT services and is a confident communicator and able to influence, inspire, and lead others. The client is looking for an individual with strong broad technical knowledge of IT with a focus on either service management or application support.
