About the role:

The two main purposes of the Software Engineer will be to deliver and maintain high quality software which needs to be built around the requirements of the end user, whether they are an internal or external stakeholder. In addition to this, you will need to establish and maintain fit for purpose software applications which for the most part will be centred around the Housing Associations residents.

The role is remote based with occasional travel to Norfolk for team meetings. With the current climate, team meetings will not be taking place until safe to do so. You can choose to work on-site or to continue remotely in the future as they are an Agile organisation and are comfortable with either option.

It will be a requirement that you are able to work alone and produce high quality, accurate and efficient code that can be well documented. You are to proactively mitigate any risks and increase the quality of software and code in an effective manner so the end user can utilise the tools that have been created.

It would be essential that you have at least year three years prior experience with Software Development either as a Software Engineer or another function within a Microsoft environment and can demonstrate that you previously have completed acceptance and unit testing. From a skill set point of view, it will be essential for you to demonstrate a clear knowledge of C#, Entity Framework and .NET.

The position will be paying up to £39,000 dependent on experience and circumstances.
