Valuation Actuary

This is a new role working within the Valuations team of an International Insurer who are boasting year on year growth. If you are a senior student / nearly qualified actuary looking for a challenging opportunity, this could be the role for you. You will be based in a team of 3 and your duties will include:

  • Acting as a number 2 to the Head of Valuations
  • Overseeing a junior student, reviewing work and assisting with training
  • Producing quarterly and annual reporting for their UK and International business
  • Leading on IFRS17 projects, part VII transfers as well as year end valuation work

In order to be considered, you will be a senior student approaching completion of your IFA exams with strong exam progress as well as having sound valuations experience. International reporting knowledge is not essential but your ability to work to tight deadlines and deal with complex regulation is! Strong communication skills are essential as you will be presenting and liaising with senior stakeholders from day one.
