Tax Controversy Director – Global Technology Business

As a Tax Controversy Director, you will be joining a world-renowned MNC focusing on project leading for APA’s and analysing tax rulings impacting existing tax certainty arrangements.

Key responsibilities:

APAs:

1. For specific countries, collate key rules, practice insights, APA processes.
2. Understand the business model and recommend route to obtain APA.
3. Prepare and agree APA strategy and engagement plan.
4. Prepare appropriate documentation for engagement with tax authorities and proactively manage process.
5. Provide monthly update reporting and proactively manage work on timely basis.

Tax Rulings

1. For specific countries, collate key rules, rulings, practice insights, ruling / refund processes.
2. Understand the business model and recommend route to obtain certainty.
3. Prepare and agree engagement plan.
4. Prepare appropriate documentation for engagement with tax authorities and proactively manage process.
5. Provide monthly update reporting and proactively manage work on timely basis.

Skills/experience required:

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in international taxation in a MNC/big 4 accountancy firm
• Strong communication and coordination skills. A team player.
