Trade Accounting Manager – 6 month FTC

Global agricultural commodity organisation with an annual revenue of £8bn. This organisation has 5,500 employees, and pride themselves on their passion for sustainable production.

An exciting Trade Accounting Manager position has come available on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for within a fast paced, global environment.

THE ROLE

• Produce high quality, timely, financial reporting relating to commercial activity to external and internal stakeholders
• Business partner with trading teams, operations, and risk to provide insight analysis on financial information relating to commodities.
• Provide live p&l results to stakeholders with frequent updates on trading prices/market trends
• Review and validate daily margin calls with the exchange
• Ensure all trades are valued and in line with Group Accounting Policy

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
• Demonstrated experience in trade and financial accounting
• Experience with working within physical commodities trading desirable
• Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports/projections
• Highly analytical
