Our client is a dynamic and innovative Fintech firm based in the City of London, who following continued growth, are now seeking a Treasury Analyst to join them in a newly created role that will start as a 6 month fixed term contract, likely converting to permanent in Q2 2024.
Reporting into the Treasury Manager, this individual will play a crucial role in managing the firms treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, reporting, banking administration, and various projects, including supporting the development of new products.
To be a good fit for this role you will need to be on immediate or short notice with a view to start in the next couple of weeks.
Responsibilities
- Cash Flow Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts to optimize liquidity management and support financial planning.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on treasury activities, financial performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal and external stakeholders.
- Banking Administration: Manage relationships with financial institutions, oversee bank account activities, and ensure timely execution of transactions.
- Controls and Policies: Collaborate with the Treasury team to establish and enhance treasury controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks effectively.
- Project Work: Contribute to various treasury-related projects, including the development and implementation of new products and services.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of treasury experience, preferably in a fintech or financial services environment.
- Aspirations to studying or studying for the ACT qualification.
- Exposure to financial markets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership of projects.
