Goodman Masson are currently recruiting for a large oil & gas business based in Oxford Circus. They are looking for an experienced accounts payable & receivable clerk. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years accounting experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable
    • Parking invoices
    • Sending invoices for authorisation
    • Sort, Code and Match invoices with PO's
    • Posting invoices
    • Monitoring AP email addresses
    • Dealing with queries
    • Maintaining AP ledger in SAP
    • Regular Payment Runs (Bankline)
    • Manual Payments (Bankline/Cheques)
  • Accounts Receivable
    • Bank run for depositing cheques
    • Raising Intercompany invoices
    • Posting Intercompany invoices
    • Maintaining AR ledger in SAP
  • Accounting
    • Bank postings (Multi-currency)
    • Bank reconciliations (Multi-currency)
    • Assist with Month end cash flows
    • Assist with Quarterly intercompany agreements
  • Administrative duties
    • Deal with incoming post for HQ Accounts
    • Filing invoices, expense forms, bank documents
    • Archiving previous years filing
  • Ad hoc admin and projects requested by manager

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of accounts payable & receivable functions
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
  • Proficient in data entry and record management.
  • 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience.
