As 2018 draws to a close, we look forward to welcoming 2019 which brings new opportunities for student actuaries in search of a fresh challenge. As part of a large transformation programme, this Life Insurance Business are seeking junior and senior students to join their change team in delivering high profile projects across the UK. You will be tasked with working on and leading projects from implementation through to delivery around system transformation, migration, modelling and product development. Your main duties will include:

  • Creating and modelling complex actuarial calculations
  • Testing scenarios, challenging results and finding solutions to complex problems
  • Working within a matrix team to meet client requirements and project deadlines

To be considered for this role, you will need a combination of technical and modelling experience and have significant knowledge of Life Insurance products. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels and deliver on tight deadlines.

With several offices across the UK, you will have the option to work from the Midlands, South Coast, South West or London. Study support is on offer for those who are looking to complete their actuarial exams.
