Assistant Finance Manager

An international retail group is looking to hire an Assistant Finance Manager on an initial 24 month contract. Applicants MUST be immediately Available to be considered for this position.

Duties and experience required

  • SAP experience
  • Year end reporting (statutory accounts) and dealings with auditors
  • Vat returns and tax computations
  • Being dynamic and having the attitude and curiosity to drive change and efficiency's
  • Accounts payable and the full cycle from vendor setup through to cash postings
  • Raising bank payments
  • Inter-company reconciliations, FX revaluations and interest journal entries
  • Balance sheet reconciliations for all aspects of the balance sheet
  • Understanding of controls, processes and risk
  • Payroll journal entries
  • Ideally someone that has experience involvement in a restructured environment and will be able to have the maturity in process documentation and evaluation from staff who are being made redundant
