Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the financial management of real estate assets and investment holding companies for a prominent UK retail fund and its feeder fund.
- Manage property accountants and internal/external administration resources.
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with financial reporting, statutory reporting, development accounting, and regulatory filing requirements.
- Assist with asset acquisition and disposal.
Technical Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Qualified/part accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Desirable: Property/fund accounting experience, consolidation experience.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting systems (desirable: MRI experience).
- Team player, collaborating closely with fund management, finance, and operations teams, as well as external advisors.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with investors and external contacts.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to implement effective processes.
- Effective communication and presentation skills for delivering information to boards and clients/investors.
- Supportive teamwork and commercial mindset to enhance relationships with third-party suppliers.
