Assistant Finance Manager

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the financial management of real estate assets and investment holding companies for a prominent UK retail fund and its feeder fund.
• Manage property accountants and internal/external administration resources.
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with financial reporting, statutory reporting, development accounting, and regulatory filing requirements.
• Assist with asset acquisition and disposal.

Technical Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Qualified/part accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Desirable: Property/fund accounting experience, consolidation experience.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting systems (desirable: MRI experience).

Competencies Required:

• Team player, collaborating closely with fund management, finance, and operations teams, as well as external advisors.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with investors and external contacts.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to implement effective processes.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for delivering information to boards and clients/investors.
• Supportive teamwork and commercial mindset to enhance relationships with third-party suppliers.
