This Public Sector corporation based in Alconbury is looking for a Business Board Technical Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. As a Business Board Technical Assistant, you will facilitate the efficient, compliant functioning of the Business Board in its pursuit to deliver maximum economic benefit to the region.

As a Business Board Technical Assistant, you will be responsible for the below:

  • Prepare and provide regular update meetings for Business Board members and wider Business & Skills Directorate;
  • Support Annual Performance Review preparations for BEIS meeting, then post meeting Action Plan to be updated and to be tracked;
  • Provide essential administration, adherence to and implementation of the Constitution and Business Board Assurance Framework;
  • Co-ordination of the Business Board sections of the company website, including all Business Board social media activity.
  • Support Annual Performance Review preparations for BEIS meeting, then post meeting Action Plan to be updated and to be tracked;

In order to qualify as a Business Board Technical Assistant, it is essential to have the below:

  • Experience as a PA, EA or Office Manager or Project Assistant support or PMO support
  • Experience or knowledge of supporting Boards and Board members
  • Experience or knowledge in coordinating governance of Boards
  • An excellent communicator able to engage with a range of partners and stakeholders
