I am working with a luxury travel business to bring on board a Commercial Finance Manager reporting directly to the CFO. This newly created position and will be the first finance hire having an exclusive focus on business partnering and commercial strategy.
The business has been established for several years and operates globally however the HQ is based in London with most of the senior management and business heads based here. Due to a recent organisational change, there is a renewed focus on growing the business considerably over the coming years making this position vital in achieving these targets.
Cyclical responsibilities for the Commercial Finance Manager will include budgeting, forecasting and planning however the majority of the role will be advising marketing, sales, commercial (etc) teams on business performance from a financial perspective. Therefore, strong communication skills are essential and someone who has a natural gravitas and comfortable in front of senior stakeholders will be required.
An accountancy qualification is a pre-requisite with strong FP&A and commercial finance experience. The ideal candidate will have previously worked within a fast paced, international consumer business.
