Credit Controller - National Charity - Peterborough

A large National Charity with a regional office in Peterborough is looking to add an interim Credit Controller to their transactional finance team. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a rapidly changing organisation and be at the forefront of a brand-new department.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of working in a credit control function;
  • Experience of working with accounts systems/posting journals
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume, transaction orientated environment
  • Intermediate Excel Skills

The salary for these positions range from £23,000 - £25,000 (dependent on experience)

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing and sending invoices
  • Establishing and maintaining effective business relationships with internal and external customers to maximize cash collection
  • Allocating customer payments against outstanding debts in a timely manner
  • Driving continuous internal process and efficiency improvements
