Finance Director | Head of Finance | £70,000 – £80,000 + bonus

An exciting opportunity to join a fastgrowing digital agency as Finance Director, this role will ensure the agency’s finance function is running effectively with robust controls in place. You will be a key member of the leadership team, working closely with the Board & PE investors to develop the business and drive through commercial ideas, providing strategic and operational financial leadership.

Reporting to the CEO, key responsibilities will include:

  • Full responsibility for the finance function
  • Overseeing the timely and accurate provision of monthly management accounts and providing strategic analysis to the Board and PE investors
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Regular meetings with client teams to aid all commercial decision making
  • Creating business plans for new opportunities and business areas
  • Contract reviews and feasibility analysis of new revenue streams
  • Maintaining best-practice controls, policies and assurance
  • Management of a finance team of 3
  • Other projects, such as undertaking due-diligence processes

About you

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Experience of working with fast growth, international businesses
  • Familiarity with investor-backed ventures and investor relations
  • Confidence, leadership and gravitas; ability to deal with all stakeholders in the business
  • Excellent Financial modelling and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of digital marketing/advertising/media would be advantageous
