Finance Manager - Environmental Charity - Central London

A newly formed grant-making organisation are looking for an experienced finance manager to come in and take the lead on the organisations finances. Based in Central London, the main objective of the organisation is to improve the quality of the air we breathe, by providing funding for initiatives to reduce air pollution. They currently have access to over £200m of funding over the next 3 years and are looking for an experienced finance manager to build out the finance team around.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience of:

  • Working in a grant-making organisation
  • Strong financial control and budgeting experience
  • Financial risk within the international charity space

This position is paying between £55,000 and £65,000 plus great benefits and annual bonus

As the successful candidate your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the relationship with the outsourced accountants
  • Designing and implementing all financial processes and policies
  • Provide day to day financial control and approval of all payments (operational and grant-making)
  • Create monthly management accounting reports, KPIs
