Financial Reporting Accountant

Role Title: Financial Reporting Accountant || Salary: £50,000 - £53,000 plus bonus

Have you recently qualified within the finance function of an SME or a larger organisation and now looking to move into a more complex role where you can take on more responsibility (including line management of a junior team member)? If so, this role is worth considering.

This role sits within the early stage investment arm of a FTSE organisation. Therefore, you will be working in a growth area of the company where a lot of the businesses are early in their lifecycle and you are able to make a real difference. Combined with this, you will have the development, training and progression opportunities that a large FTSE company offers so you have the best of both worlds.

The role itself is for someone who is looking to go down the Financial Controller and ultimately FD route in their careers as this is a reporting and controls focused position. What stands out with this role is the level of responsibility you will have - you will be line managing a more junior team member and have a lot of ownership of the year-end and monthly reporting as well as the consolidations.

Given the variety of businesses they invest in, the company are open to seeing people from any sector background as long as you have prior reporting and control experience within a finance function.
