Fixed Asset Accountant

A leading housing association covering the South and South West of England are looking for a Fixed Asset Accountant to come in and look after their large fixed asset portfolio.

Whilst being a large, established business with financial strength, they pride themselves on investing in their communities, helping the people and neighbourhoods be the best they can be.

Role:

• All processes and recording of fixed assets are carried out correctly
• Deliver timely and accurate monthly reporting
• Assist in delivering annual statutory reporting, liaising with internal and external auditors
• Being the key contact for all fixed asset queries
• Provide cost analysis in support of the calculation of depreciation

Requirements:

• History of working in businesses with large fixed assets e.g housing, tech, manufacturing
• Highly numerate with strong excel skills
• Proven track record of working effectively in a fast paced client driven environment
• Experience of processes and controls surrounding budgeting, forecasting and management account preparation, including detailed report writing and analysis
