Fundraising Finance Manager

My client is an international development charity and a well-known, global brand name. The incredible organisation is looking for an interim Fundraising Finance Manager for a minimum 6 month duration, to lead the Fundraising Finance team through budgeting and day to day activities. Main responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Head of Fundraising Finance in achieving the long-term financial strategy for the Fundraising Department
  • Acting as a Finance Business Partner to Directors and their teams within the Fundraising directorate
  • Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
  • Preparing accurate and insightful management reports for each fundraising area and the department
  • Support the Head of Fundraising Finance to improve the efficiency of reporting process through standardisation and automation
  • Managing a team of two Finance Analysts

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Accountant, or qualified by experience
  • Have excellent experience in the charity sector and knowledge of SORP
  • Be experienced working with Fundraising and have sound knowledge of individual giving and legacies
  • Have experience managing a small team
