Join one of the fastest-growing organisations in the UK in the newly-created role of Head of FP&A. A unique opportunity to become part of an organisation that has seen unprecedented growth in its less than 10 year history and is still growing. They are looking for a commercial, ambitious candidate to head up their FP&A team.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Delivering the budgeting & forecasting process for the organisation, supporting budget holders in adhering to process, consolidating information and presenting data to senior management and the Board
  • Providing the organisation with quality data analytics that allow for data driven decision, seeking to maximise value for money whilst maintaining quality
  • Supporting the senior finance management team in the development and implementation of reporting and operating metrics that drive performance
  • Working closely with the PMO team to implement the wider Annual Business Planning Process, developing strategy and ensuring alignment with budget
  • Line management of 3 FP&A Analysts; grow the team to at least 5 by the end of the year

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a University degree or equivalent and be professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Have excellent analytical skills and experience using historic financial information, strategic plan or forecast data, with a track record of delivering business performance improvement
  • Be a very strong communicator and influencer, with experience working in a complex organisation
  • Be experienced with staff management and development
  • (Preferably) have some experience in central government or in a charitable organisation
