Interim Head of Risk - Wealth Management

The Position

The Head of Risk will have responsibility for the ownership and execution of the risk management framework and associated policies, procedures, tools and techniques for the business to assess and manage their risk for the UK regulated entity. The role holder will be responsible for independent oversight and challenge of the business risk profile for the UK regulated entity.

Key responsibilities include:

Ø Responsibility for the overall design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Risk Management Framework, including operational risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, market risk, conduct risk and reputational risk and associated policies and procedures

Ø Assess, mitigate, monitor, measure and report on risks impacting on the business

Ø Ensure that the business is able to demonstrate effective management of risks

Ø Produce key risk & incident metrics

Ø Promote and embed a strong risk culture within the firm, including educating and training staff on potential risk and the techniques used to mitigate such risk

Ø Chair & lead risk committees and report relevant information to the Board. Attendance at other leadership committees as required

Ø Work closely with the Business and Finance to assess, quantify
