I am working with a Housing Association based in the North West who are looking to bring in a Land and New Business Manager into their team to lead on the purchase of land, package deals and look at the viability of schemes.
My client is looking to delivery circa 150 homes per year across the region through a mix of new build and regeneration schemes for rent and sale.
About the role
Reporting directly into the Head of Development you will oversee the Land/New Business/Viability function, sourcing new opportunities across the region. The sites you will be acquiring will be a mixture of Land Led, Package Deals and S106. The organisation has ambitions to delivery 150 new homes per year and you will be buying sites from 30 units up to 100 at a time.
My client is looking for a team player who can fit into the tight knit team and empower others to work to their full potential. They want someone who has experience purchasing land ideally in the North West but is hungry to bring in deals. They have a can do attitude and would look for reasons to buy, rather than not!
You will need to be able to demonstrate your understanding of the residential development cycle and you will need to demonstrate where you have brought in land If you have commercial experience this might also be a bonus, as several of their schemes will involve commercial aspects.
