Senior Group Reporting Accountant – Transformation

** 12 month fixed term contract

** Will consider candidates with up to 8 weeks’ notice period

** Seeking candidates straight from practice (manager level) or with industry experience

This FTSE 250 listed global organisation is looking for a Transformation Manager for their Group Reporting Team

This role is to be responsible not only for the reporting but to work with the operational team to ensure reported costs are in line with executed plans and to be the key point of contact for accounting guidance when restructuring their legal entities across the group. We are looking for someone mature, with confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders, naturally likes to help/guide people, running training sessions if needed, continue to define better processes, etc.

In addition to the above, you will be responsible for the following:

• Review market programme submissions and ensure consolidated financial information is reported in accordance with IFRS
• Support the development of transformational forecasts
• Analyse and identify risks and opportunities in the monthly reporting tracker
• Work with the local markets’ finance teams to investigate and resolve reconciliation differences

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• ACA qualified with 3 years of post-qualified experience
• Strong technical accounting experience
• An understanding of IFRS

As they are a large business and a function working with a number of different stakeholders, evidence of positive influence skills, stakeholder management, approachable are important attributes

Given the number of timetables and deadlines, the candidate should have evidence of managing workflow, be organised, structure but yet agile/resilient to adapt to changes
