One of the largest and most prestigious Reinsurance businesses within the Life Market are looking to hire a student pricing actuary to join their team. In this role, you would be responsible for the pricing of new deals and assisting in the negotiation of commercial terms, internally and with external clients.

The role:

  • You will have the opportunity to produce quotes for clients across all lines of business, including protection and longevity products, providing you with a varied skill set.
  • You will have the chance to develop strong client-focused relationships with the business developers and to construct a wide network from early on in your career.
  • This role will encourage you to develop your technical knowledge and reinsurance expertise which is highly desirable within the market.

You will also have the chance to join the rotation programme where you can expand on your skill set by rotating to a reporting or a capital team or other teams within the business. To be suitable for this role you will be studying towards your IFOA qualification and have relevant experience within the Life Insurance market.
