I'm working with one of my favourite hedge funds to find a middle office candidate. Whilst technically a middle office role the team sit on the desk and work very closely with the PMs, so could also be considered a trading assistant role. This is a fund which trades off of volatility, so trading volumes are high and they are actively recruiting.
You will manage trade capture of all products including but not limited to derivatives across equities, credit, rates, and FX and monitor middleware trade matching platforms and deal with live breaks in a timely manner. You will be the main point of contact for the prime broker and review and report top day PnL internally. You will work very closely with the desk carrying out any ad hoc tasks for them when they need.
In order to be considered for this role you must come from another hedge fund, ideally a small to mid-sized fund. You must have product knowledge in derivatives and be comfortable working in a high-volume environment. You must have a numerical degree. This is a mid-level role so we're looking for someone between 4-6 years' experience.
Please email your CV as soon as possible to firstname.lastname@example.org if you meet the above criteria.
