Test Analyst – 24-month Fixed Term Contract

Join my public sector client is recruiting for a Test Analyst on a 24-month Fixed Term Contract in London, working on a large system transformation.

Location: London 1-2 days on-site

Salary: £50,000 – £57,000 + excellent benefits

As a Test Analyst, your role includes:

• Executing testing and assurance activities as a Test Analyst.
• Creating detailed test scripts, essential for a Test Analyst.
• Identifying and logging defects, a critical task for a Test Analyst.
• Championing user acceptance testing (UAT), a core responsibility for a Test Analyst.
• Implementing automation tools when relevant, a vital function for a Test Analyst.
• Curating test data and configuring environments, key aspects of the role of a Test Analyst.
• Contributing to testing policies and procedures as an experienced Test Analyst.

To succeed as a Test Analyst, you should have:

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in testing, including UAT
• A strong grasp of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Exceptional organisational skills

In addition to the above, desirable skills for a Test Analyst include:

• Test certification, beneficial
• Automation testing tools
• Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA / Xray)
• Stakeholder management
• Project management skills
