A international banking group based in the city of London are looking to recruit a two individuals for their transaction monitoring team.

They are looking for someone with strong AML and anti-financial crime background as the main purpose of the roles is to manage transaction monitoring and be responsible for undertaking and analysing transactions for suspicious activity reporting.

Day to day activities include responsibility for investigating and assessing alerts of potential money laundering and financial crime risks to the Bank. In addition to this, you will be managing workflows and maintaining and following procedures for transaction monitoring. The ideal candidate will be performing on-going reviews of the AML system used in generating alerts and provide constructive reports for system related changes for making the system/process more robust.

It is essential that you have a background understanding of AML Transactional Monitoring environment with experience in financial crime and good knowledge of regulatory rules and AML regulations. Furthermore, experience in identifying unusual and suspicious transactions and outlining rationale is important, as is knowledge and experience of risk based approach pertaining to AML processes.
