An interesting and global business based in Chiswick are now looking for a Treasury manager to join their team. Ideally the candidate will have experience of working with Debt and have project experience.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • In charge of the Treasury responsibilities of certain of the company's joint ventures, which includes overseeing and managing the loan facilities and capital requirements of these entities, worth approximately US$0.5bn

  • Work closely with the Executive team and participate in the review of the company's capital requirements on an ongoing basis and research any new or amended current financing structures.

  • Continuously monitor and review the covenants across the secured debt facilities totalling approximately US$10.5bn and negotiate amendments and waivers with the lenders where necessary.

  • Project manage and lead certain financing transactions for the company, including the companies we manage, which involves working together with internal and external counterparts to structure, negotiate, and successfully execute the transaction.

  • Work closely with internal and external lawyers to review and negotiate new or amendments to existing financing agreements.

  • Manage relationships with external and internal auditors.

  • Together with the Assistant Group Treasurer manage and develop the company's relationship with lenders, being the main point of contact in certain circumstances.

  • Main point of contact with the ratings agencies in relation to the company's activities and with particular focus on the rated entity within the group of companies we manage.

  • Participate in the short-term cash forecasting for the company and companies under management, and long-term forecast modelling for certain joint ventures.

  • Oversee and be responsible for the issuance and recording of guarantees for the group.

  • Provide support to day to day cash management and intercompany funding activities.

  • Oversee the quarterly bank covenant reporting to our lenders to ensure we adhere to the strict timelines and coordinate with other departments such as Investor Relations, Tax and Accounting with regard to our financial reporting requirements.

  • Participate in monthly and quarterly reporting to the board and prepare memos and present when necessary for certain board approvals.

  • Work together with the team to implement the new TMS, ensuring that information is correctly recorded in the system going forward and liaise with accounting on any issues relating to the output of the system.

  • Manage Group Treasury risk such as participating and supporting the execution of interest rate and foreign exchange hedging transactions and negotiating to ensure the most competitive price for the company.

  • Review the notes to the financial statements within the external quarterly and annual financial reports for the companies and provide feedback to Accounting on Treasury related activities.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external Treasury controls and procedures, including SOX compliance and developing and implementing new procedures where necessary. Update and maintain existing Treasury Directives and establish new ones when necessary

  • Monitor and control costs with suppliers to ensure accuracy and create savings where possible.

  • Assist in supporting and mentoring other members of the team.
