There is so much to do and see in London, but if like me, you never proactively seek out upcoming events, then you’re in luck because we have done it for you. Here are some of the events that are happening in London over the next 2 months…
For all the romantics out there looking for ideas for Valentine’s Day, London is the ideal spot with loads to choose from to impress your other half.
Take to the kitchen at a Dim Sum Making Masterclass. There’s no such thing as too many cooks when it comes to Valentine’s Day. If your love language is laughing, get that someone special a comedy pass for two. If the idea of walking around in sub-0 temperatures, and looking at lights, sounds romantic to you then The Light Festival at Battersea Power Station is perfect for you and it runs between 19 Jan – 5 March.
If you’re into your fashion and happen to know Giorgio Armani personally, then you may be able to wrangle an invite to London fashion week starting on 17th of Feb. If Gi is not your best mate then don’t worry there are some events open to the general public with more to be added in the coming weeks.
For all the parents out there, who find themselves off work in half term desperately trying to think of ways to keep their kids entertained and tire them out, we’ve got just the thing. Imagine children’ s festival in South Bank is on from 8th-18th February and thankfully, will do the entertaining so you don’t have to.
If like me, you’re Irish, or else just like the craic and maybe a pint of Guinness, then you will be looking for ways to celebrate St Patrick’s day in March. The Irish Festival and Parade is on the 12th of March and goes between Hyde Park & Trafalgar square.
For all the fitness enthusiasts (or if you had one too many Guinness on St Patrick’s day), you may want to attend the Live Well London Festival which is on the 18th of March and includes fitness classes, well-being workshops and much more.
