Social Housing

We feel a real connection to the world of Social Housing. Not just because of our understanding from years of experience in the sector helping Associations with talent attraction and employer brand, but we feel huge amounts of admiration for the role that the sector plays in building and providing affordable homes and investing in vibrant strong communities.

It’s the reason we have rolled our numerous initiatives and programmes across the sector specifically designed to support residents living in social housing…from upskilling when it comes to employability or from befrienders programmes calling residents at home during the COVID pandemic.

And as the social housing landscape continues to change it is our belief that we have an opportunity to play a part in helping transform the sector…making it more compelling during the attraction of talent and more engaging as a working experience for the retention of talent.

Finding the right talent

We have worked with over eighty associations across the country.

From our specialist teams finding candidates across Development, Finance, IT, Asset Management and Compliance or from our RPO business delivering on its promise to find talent across all job families and taking an employer brand to market…we love the role that we play and the difference we have been able to make.

Our befrienders programme – ‘We’re free to chat’

We recognised that for many residents (the vulnerable and elderly) it was going to be a lonely time with little contact from others during COVID19.

Through our ‘We’re free to chat’ programme we called over 2600 residents across 9 Housing Associations.

Conversation helped.

Our network and mentoring scheme – Building Balance

Building Balance focuses on addressing the gender imbalance across the development industry. We want to see a better gender balance at more senior levels in the development industry.

We believe that the best way to achieve this is by bringing together those in senior-level positions with those at a junior level, with the aim of developing a pipeline of women with a pathway to senior-level roles.
